It was not treasure for keeping, nor a prize of mere gain, but a keeper of passage, a witness to our deeds and our fellowship. When the time is right, we shall place it in another cache, that it may continue its wandering, passing from seeker to seeker, carrying tales of rain and quest, of courage and of bonds shared between father and son. Until then, it rides with us, a silent companion, binding our steps to the long and winding road, and to the story yet unfolding.
