Roantree wrote note Log entry: A new container was procured, and the contents of the old cache transfered to it, with a single addition of our own. I released it in early December, but due to the holidays I am only reporting it now. Nice place for a little fish to wait until someone finds it. *this should be a "Release" entry, but I do not know how to go about entering a waypoint. I can tell you to look in Santa Cruz county for the cache. I will check in again, and if I can figure it out, I will plug in a waypoint code. |

Roantree wrote note Log entry: I was camping in Los Padres National Forest with family this weekend. As we went out to walk the dog we found a strange, partially deteriorated plastic box in the middle of the road. AT first we thought that someone had dropped it from their pack, or perhaps that it had fallen from a vehicle. We also floated the idea of it being washed down the slope in a storm. We investigated the contents and found the little green fish, along with the other little things inside. This is the first time that we have found one of these caches, and thus were quite excited. We had not expected to find something like this on our simple outing, thus the utter suprise of it was quite fun. Due to the state of the box, (the lid is cracked and no longer stays on) we figured it best to bring it home and put the contents into a new box. Now we are back home, and continuing on in this endeavor. |
