Log entry: RELEASED TO: "Fly Baby Turns 100 - GCQNGY" Out by myself for some after noon caching. I'm in Newport for the Christmas holiday with my son's family (from Chico, CA), and my middle daughter's family (from Grants Pass, OR) and her in-laws (from Redmond, OR and Pine, AZ). I ran several PQ's in prep for the trip that will include all of the Northwestern Oregon counties and a few in Central Oregon (to see my brother and his wife, the bubblegummers) with three or four opportunistic trips to Washington counties that border the Columbia River. This one popped up on my Newport and Tillamook county caches. Coordinates and hint were good. Quick and easy. Cache is in good shape. Elevation 33 feet (seems high). Weather about 40 degrees. Steady rain, kind of cold.

Log entry: TOOK from "Money Pit - GCGAEJ" Out by myself in the morning to pick up some local caches and get some exercise. Parked at N 37° 54.397 W 122° 04.997, then walked down the hill. Not quite certain this was private or public property. I think were I headed down was public due to the EBMUD sign and dog poop bags there, even though one of the poles said PRIVATE PROPERTY. Quick and easy find. No muggles. I'm always amazed how many of the hidden playgrounds I come across geocaching that are completely empty. Coordinates and hint were good. Cache is in good shape. Elevation 515 feet. Weather 70 degrees. Sunny with no breeze.
